Working Aptitude Evaluations (WAE)

Nothing scheduled at this time

What is the WAE?

The Working Aptitude Evaluation was designed as a tool to assist breeders and prospective owners in producing and obtaining Doberman Pinschers having a temperament as described by the breed Standard.  The Evaluation has five categories in which the dog's responses are assessed according to the degree of approach (investigative/protective) or avoidance (avoid confrontation) behavior.  The dog must exhibit approach or appropriate behavior for the breed during all exercises to receive the Working Aptitude Certification.  It is recommended that any dog with an inappropriate response to any exercise not be bred to another dog with an inappropriate response in the same exercise.
